Olympic College Automotive Technology program to host community celebration on May 26, 2011

Olympic College’s Automotive Technology Program is still running on all cylinders. On Thursday, May 26, 2011, the Automotive Technology program will host a celebration to thank the community for their continued support over the years.

Come join the fun!  The event will be held 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. May 26, 2011 at Olympic College’s Automotive Center. The Automotive Service Center is located at 1600 Warren Avenue in Bremerton across from Olympic College’s campus.   Read more

Chef Instructor at Olympic College Wins Prestigious Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Culinary Industry

North America’s largest association of professional chefs, the American Culinary Federation (ACF), presented Chef Instructor Chris Plemmons with a prestigious award. New veterans center opening Wednesday at Olympic College

Kitsap Sun, May 16, 2011 – ‘Since joining Olympic College last fall, Dan Chacon has been on a mission…Eight months later, on Wednesday, the Veteran and Military Support Center will open. “I’m really humbled by the sacrifices our veterans and military make for all of us,” Chacon said. “This (veterans center) is one way to demonstrate our appreciation for what they’ve done.”’ Read more here

Annual Donors and Scholars Dinner June 2, 2011

The annual Donors and Scholars Dinner is 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside. This year, over 80 students will be awarded OC Foundation scholarships at the dinner. As always, students will have the opportunity to meet the donors who have so generously supported student scholarships.
