Community Supports Student Success at Annual Olympic College Foundation Auction!
The Olympic College Foundation auction in March raised more than $40,000 in support of students and programs at Olympic College. This was the 4th year of the annual fundraiser at Anthony’s Restaurant in Bremerton, and the community turned out in full force to show their commitment to the growing number of students at Olympic College! Guests enjoyed lively entertainment, a scrumptious brunch designed and prepared by Anthony’s chefs, and fabulous packages and gifts donated by our generous supporters.
Your Support Makes a Difference
Olympic College serves more than 12,000 students each year, and the number continues to grow. Many students are seeking a more affordable option for education, while many others are seeking retraining due to unemployment. All of them are striving to improve their lives through learning. During the 2010-11 academic year, the O.C. Foundation will award more than $130,000 in scholarships and emergency funds and contributed more than $150,000 in direct support to college programs. This support would not be possible without the commitment of our generous donors and sponsors. We would especially like to thank our auction sponsors:
- Anthony’s Restaurants
- Harrison Medical Center
- Kitsap Bank
- Kitsap Conference Center at Bremerton Harborside
- KPS Health Plans
- Douglas Berger, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney
- Bremerton Bottling Company
- Concurrent Technologies Corporation
- Kitsap Sun
- Sound Publishing, Inc.
