College Creates Mobile Web Applications
Olympic College has been working to provide more digital services to students. For the past four years, the college has moved a number of services to an electronic format so they are accessible by mobile devices and can be viewed anywhere by students. The trend reflects the rising number of smart phones, computer tablets, and other mobile devices that can download content from the web. In fact, by the end of 2012, it’s predicted that the number of mobile devices in use will outnumber the world’s population.
OC information such as library books, staff and faculty directory, OC events and dates, security hours and details, and alert messages are part of the initial efforts to meet the needs of 21st Century students.
Under development are most services that will provide more on-the-go services. Some options could include content from OC’s website that allows students to look up different degree options and areas of study or plan their degree. There are many possibilities and the focus will be on trying to find the services that will reach the greatest number of students.

Nice information, many thanks to the author. It is incomprehensible to me currently, but in general, the usefulness and significance is overwhelming. Thanks again and fine luck!

Thanks for finally talking about >College Creates Mobile Web Applications | OC Today – Olympic College online magazine
<Loved it!
I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell
you, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is an issue
that not enough men and women are speaking intelligently about.
I’m very happy that I found this during my hunt for something regarding this.
